Health and Safety:
CGB Humbertherm is committed to working safely and safety is our Companies number one priority. We invest considerable resources to ensure that all employees have the appropriate safety training to carry out their work safely. We have an outstanding set of safety statistics which demonstrates our commitment in this area.
The CGB Humbertherm Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) are certified to OHSAS 18001 and are subject to regular internal and external audits by our certification body, NQA.
Environment:
CGB Humbertherms impact on the environment is minimal however we are very keen to ensure that any impact is managed. We regularly collect and collate data and analyse the information as part of our ongoing commitment to reducing our carbon footprint.
The CGB Humbertherm Environmental Management System (EMS) is certified to ISO 14001 and is subject to regular internal and external audits by our certification body, NQA.
Quality:
In order to allow us to carry out our business activities CGB Humbertherm operate a Quality Management System. This allows us to offer a planned, cost effective and methodical process to establish, consider and attain the necessary quality standards of our Clients.
The CGB Humbertherm Quality Management System (QMS) is certified to ISO 9001 and is subject to regular internal and external audits by our certification body, NQA.
Community:
CGB Humbertherm provides services to clients who are core companies within UK society and we therefore understand that our operational activities indirectly have an impact on everyone and that we have a responsibility to those communities where we operate.
We employ, where possible, local labour with a large percentage of our current workforce and management positions being filled by local people.
Our success is not only measured in profit but also on how we conduct ourselves with the Community. Where possible we try to support local charities and causes where we can see benefits to the community.
Whistle Blowing Policy:
CGB Humbertherm are committed to conducting our business with honesty and integrity and we expect all staff and employees to maintain high standards. However, all organisations face the risk of things going wrong from time to time, or of unknowingly harbouring illegal or unethical behaviour. A Culture of openness and accountability is essential in order to prevent such situations occurring or to address them when they do occur.
The aims of this policy are:
- To encourage staff and employees to report suspected wrong doing as soon as possible, in knowledge that their concerns will be taken seriously and investigated as appropriate, and that their confidentiality will be respected.
- To provide staff and employees with guidance as to how to raise those concerns
- To reassure staff that they should be able to raise genuine concerns in good faith without fear of reprisals, even if they turn out to be mistaken.
Suspected wrongdoings or dangers at work may include the following:
- Criminal activity, miscarriages of justice, danger to Health and Safety, damage to the environment, failure to comply with any legal obligation or regulatory requirements, financial fraud or mismanagement, negligence, breach of our internal policies and procedures, conduct likely to damage our reputation, unauthorised disclosure of confidential information or the deliberate concealment of any of the above matters.
CGB Humbertherm has established a secure E Mail address which allows employees to express any concerns, issues, complaints in a confidential manner. All comment s received will be reviewed and investigated by the Company Directors and the Company Secretary. They will be investigated fully and treated sensitively and confidentially.
